For the golfers among you, the apartment is a five minute drive from the Playa Serena golf course which is an 18 hole course and is characterised by wide fairways, 9 lakes and is said to be the flattest in Spain. 
The course was designed by Angel Gallardo and Peter Alliss.  
A 15 minute drive brings you to La Envia golf course designed by Francisco Mendoza which is an 18 hole par 70 course set in a valley surrounded by mountains giving protection from the wind, thus giving perfect golfing conditions.   
A 20 minute drive away is Almerimar Golf course which is an 18 hole Par 72 course designed by Gary Player and has an island green marooned in the centre of a lake giving a tee shot over 100 metres of water.  
A 1 hour 30 minute drive will take you to the Desert Springs golf course which is an 18 hole course that only opened in 2000.  Designed by Peter McEvoy and created in the style of an Arizona, California Desert. 
Valle del Este golf course in Vera (approx 1 hour 15 mins) is an 18 hole course designed by Jose Fanales and only opened in 2002 and is surrounded by volcanic rock with wide fairways. 
Finally Marine golf in Mojacar (approx. 1 hour from apartment) is an 18 hole course which opened in 2000 and offers wonderful views from each hole
